We have two lifts* in the building which are for use by our Disabled guests. When you arrive at admissions, our Team will advise you of the location of the lifts. The first lift which takes you up through the attraction, is operated by a member of staff, the second smaller passenger lift, which brings you back down through the building can be operated by Guests. Please note that the smaller passenger lift is only suitable for standard size wheelchairs.
In order to ensure that all of our guests have the best possible experience at our historic attraction, we are undertaking work to enhance our lift facilities. We have begun begin work to refurbish our passenger lift for wheelchair users and guests who require assistance.
We anticipate that we will be without the use of this lift from July 2018 – March 2019. As such, any guests who require a lift facility will not be able to access our Best of British and Festival Fields areas. All other floors are fully accessible
We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause. We are committed to inclusivity at Madame Tussauds Blackpool and this work is part of our ongoing commitment to improve the accessibility of our attraction.
If you have any questions regarding this and would like to speak with one of our team about your visit then please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
